Cabbage and Methi (Fenugreek Leaves) with Indian Spices

Effect: Detoxifying and cleansing

2 cups cleaned and chopped white cabbage
1 cup fresh cleaned fenugreek leaves (spinach if fenugreek not available)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 teaspoon pancha phoran (available an Indian markets
salt to taste
ΒΌ teaspoon turmeric

Warm the olive oil in a pot on medium heat. Add pancha phoran and turmeric. Heat for a few seconds to bring out the potency of the spices. Add the cabbage. Mix in the methi leaves. Add some salt and water to keep from burning. Lower the heat and cook for 10 minutes.
